If you're in Northern California this weekend, the Pear Fair 10 miler is a great run! It winds through the pear orchards of tiny delta town Courtland and is almost all on dirt. Check it out.

This Scottish guy is going to try to cover 161 miles in 24 hours on a treadmill while watching "24." And I thought you'd like to try to keep your heart rate down.
