I was reading the UTMB's rules (geek alert) and noticed a very real section on PIDs. First time I've seen that for an ultra. A harbinger for US ultras?
It's very possible that I'm missing something obvious..... but I cannot for the life of me figure out what PID is. I am intrigued, and HAVE to know. I even read the UTMB rules to try to figure it out!! The only thing I know of that is abbreviated PID is pelvic inflammatory disease. And I can't see the correlation between ultrarunning and STD's.
